Details
The Sangre de Cristo (Blood of Christ) Mountain range runs from south central Colorado down to Glorieta Pass, south of Santa Fe, NM.
It includes the highest point in New Mexico, Wheeler Peak (at over 13,000 feet) as well as famous tourist towns such as Taos and Santa Fe. Both towns are in part known for the ski areas.
One of favorite drives is the Enchanted Cirle. My route is from Taos, north to Quest, east to Red River, Eagle Nest and Angel Fire. Then south and west back to Taos.
